Planned Giving Program

As a volunteer hunter education instructor you have a passion for our hunting heritage.  You know the importance of continuing our heritage and volunteer your time to make sure that future generations can share the same great experiences that you have had.

You know that the future of hunting depends on you.  That’s why we’re inviting you to continue the heritage for generations to come.

By providing for the IHEA-USA in your will or trust you will help to ensure that future generations will get to experience the same kind of outdoor experiences that you hold so dearly.  As you know, the International Hunter Education Association-USA (IHEA-USA) has a commitment to preserving and protecting our right to hunt as well as our hunting heritage.

You can support the IHEA-USA’s efforts by setting aside:

  • A specific dollar amount
  • A percentage of your estate's value
  • All or part of the remainder of your estate in your will or trust
  • All or part of the proceeds of a Life Insurance policy or Retirement Plan

All of your bequest will be invested into an endowment that will help to ensure that IHEA-USA can continue to educate future generations about our hunting heritage.      Bequests of any size are gratefully accepted and sincerely appreciated.

We deeply appreciate what you do for our hunting heritage.  Our volunteers are unsung heroes that donate their time, money and resources to help perpetuate a sport that you love so deeply.  We urge you to remember the IHEA-USA when creating your will.  Your support today, and through your estate planning, will help to ensure that future generations get to experience the same wonderful experiences that you have had.

When preparing your will or trust, we urge you to consult your attorney and hope that the following language will be helpful in providing a bequest to IHEA:

"I give, devise and bequeath ___% of what remains of my estate (or $_______) to the International Hunter Education Association-USA (Tax ID # 37-1145157), a charitable corporation presently having offices at 2727 W. 92nd Ave., Suite 103, Federal Heights, CO  80260."

Your advisor may wish to know that IHEA-USA is a non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Colorado.
