  • 2014 Heritage Hunt Held

    2014 Heritage Hunt held at Hixon Ranch in Cotulla, TX

    The annual Heritage Hunt, also called the DREAM HUNT, was held November 7- 9th at the Hixon Ranch near the hunter-friendly town of Cotulla, "Deep in the Heart" of South Texas Two lucky students and two instructors enjoyed "a most memorable hunt!"

    IHEA-USA Teams up with NSSF® on Project Childsafe® Program

    IHEA-USA, the world leader in developing safe and responsible hunters since 1949, has become a promotional supporter of National Shooting Sports Foundation's Project Childsafe® Program. Though many state programs have already supported and provided thousands of free gun locks in their hunter education efforts, and though hunter education already teaches about safe firearm storage in the home, IHEA-USA will be enhancing its efforts by further promoting the message, Own It?  Respect It. Secure It. to hundreds of thousands of hunter education students in the years to come.
